Hikes with Views in the Upper Valley

4. Moose Mountain South Ridge

Drive time from Hanover, NH: 20 minutes

Reward: Follow the Ridge Trail south for great views to the east and Mt. Cardigan at some ledges. On the return there are great views to the west and Killington Peak.

Length of hike: 1.8 miles, 225 feet

Ease of use: Markings and trail maintenance are only fair. Be sure to use map (link provided). Leaders should scout this hike, before bringing a group.
