Norwich Trails is an all-volunteer organization advocating for trails in Norwich, VT. We work with landowners and cooperating organizations to maintain a network of public trails spanning Norwich and interconnecting with neighboring communities.
Update — Brown Schoolhouse Road Bridge Replacement!
In December Norwich’s application for a funding grant from the state-adminstered Recreational Trails Program was submitted. Awarded grant announcements for this program will be in the early Springtime.
The proposed Town Warrant Article to fund the replacement bridge was unanimously accepted by the Norwich Selectboard. Any awarded grants will serve to offset the town’s actual obligation.

Discover Norwich Trails in 2020 — New Guided Tours Program!
Discover Norwich Trails in 2020 is a year-long program of guided Discovery Tours offered to help more people discover and enjoy our trails network. Tours will be offered throughout the year (except Mud Season).
The first tours will highlight the BIll Ballard Trail including the so-called “Norwich Grand Canyon”, in late February.
