A 5.5-mile loop with 675 feet of uphill can be assembled from starting from the Parcel 5 parking lot across to the Bill Ballard Trail and turning right. At the top, cross Beaver Meadow Road and enter the Blue Ribbon Trail and follow it until turning right on the Blue-Ribbon Connector Trail to the Brookmead trails. Bear right until you find the entrance to the Parcel 5 trail system. Return to the parking lot by any system of shortcuts that you can devise.
